I’m about halfway through Beyond lies the wub, the first volume of Underwood Miller’s posthumous collection of Philip K Dick’s short fiction.
So far “The Little Movement”, about an evil army of wind-up toy soldiers attempting to conquer the ruling race of Adults by enslaving their Children, and “The Defenders”, in which robots left to wage nuclear war on the surface of the planet while humanity shelters underground deviate from their programming, have really appealed to me.
